I have not put anything up for the last 7 months, well that is really because I started a major project AND I had my third child in July .... a beautiful little girl that we have named Katalina. About 2 months before she was born I started a quilt for her ... I did manage to finish a bit over half of it before she was born in July but with the extra demands of a new baby plus my other 2 beautiful girls taking up my time and simply my exhaustion of having a new born I did not work on this as much as I would have liked so it has taken me a further 6 months to complete the quilt. I am pretty happy with this and I must say that I lover the feel of the stitching when you rub your hand across it. Please be forgiving as I have taken this photo before washing, was just too excited to wait!
I actually competed the castle and crown before she was born and the frog in hospital, the rest has taken me the 6 months at home, kind of fitting as I completed the quilt tonight and she is 6 months old today.
